- Ok.. I have had that digitizer for several years and have gotten good
- STILL results in RGB 21bit mode. But there is no way that you can
- sample from a 'moving' video. To even get a video still, you have to
- pause the vcr and then digitize and the results wont be that good. When
- I have done that (using shuttle jog on Panasonic AG1960 SVHS deck),
- color 'saves' were basically useless. Too too noisey. Saved them as
- b&w. I did an 'animation' by 'sampling' different frames. The screen
- size that I choice was small too (like the old Quicktime videos) and it
- reminded me of an old time b&w silent movie. But Digiview is real good
- for digitizing still photos.

- Hello Anthony, I fully agree with you, trying to digitize an
- image from a VCR is a mess, but my project is a little bit diferent, I'm
- trying to take the video output of my laser player LP (is like a CD player
- but it also plays movies) and digitize, when the LP isplaying CD's it
- produces a blue screen w/info about the disks, THAT IS THE INFO I WANT TO
- BE ABLE TO HANDLE after is been captured. Since you may have the docs
- about the Digi-View, could you share some knowledge with me? I have every
- thing exept the manuals and the info I need should be there.
- Please HELP.
